Salut mes amis! I went to see "Micmacs a tire larigot" by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (most famous for his 2001 film, Amelie) a few days ago, and it may be one of the better movies I've seen in years. Funny, beautiful, political and riddled with heist plots! Definitely going to have to create some fanart...I unfortunately don't have photoshop on my computer so I have been borrowing my sister's...this explains the slow pace at which all projects are going...but they will happen eventually!

In 24 hours, I will have lived for two decades...it will be my birthday and I will be 20 and no longer a teenager! ARGH! Terrifying...Me? A full adult with responsiblities? No good can come of this.

I have been down for the past few days for no apparent reason...cycles of the moon mayhaps? Or maybe it has to do with the fact I work 50 hours a week doing a job I don't like, and have been spending too much time worrying about other people's well-being. Time for some ME TIME (read: art, yoga and watching SPACED in my underwear). I have SO many ideas for drawings and paintings and I just need to focus and get some down on paper. Posts in the next few days are very likely.

On an unrrelated topic, I have started a new excercise routine, complete with yoga. I am also trying to stop eating massive amounts of cheese in the middle of the night (and other general acts of  fat-ass-ery). Hooray for self-esteem!

Ahhh, summertime. My new favourite thing is to browse DA after a night out drinking. Browsing pretty arts while drunk-muching buttered toast? Excellent. Anyhoo, I have been drawing and writing between shifts at my job and hangouts with friends and will be posting something of some persuasion soon. Probably gonna be related to How to Train Your Dragon, one of the best movies I have seen all year (and have obviously been fangirling about for a few weeks now...). Also, Question: If I was to stoop as low as fic writing (haha, no offense intended to those who write ), would anybody read it? [Again probably HTTYD themed...]

SUMMER, finally! As usually, I'm sorry for my insanely long absence! I'll be updating more regularly since school and exams are finally over!
